Neckties......or the lack there of.

When did it become okay for men to grow up not knowing how to tie a necktie? This is something I will never understand. Neckties date back to the 1650's (I am sure that they had them before then) when they were called "Cravats". It was definitely different than the necktie that we know today. Here is a diagram showing some different ways to tie a necktie. I hope that the picture is big enough. I hope that this works out for all of you.
